The sign states closed to Nov 30th 2018, if so they need to get a wiggle on as there are building materials everywhere. Easy to get to, we caught a No. 6 tram from the main shed on al. J Pilsudskiego and stay on till...More

The museum was undergoing some renovations, but even what we saw outdoors was moving. The station is small - just one old train and one small station building, with a few simple but impressive murals and plaques on the walls around it. Enough to move...More

The museum is closed until October 2018 due to renovation. The website shows normal working hours and the English version doesn't work. Travelled half of the city for nothing.

A simple enough museum, done very well. It sits beside working rail lines which reminds of how ordinary a place it should have been.

A little out of the way, about a 20 min taxi ride from centre of Lodz. Not much else nearby so make sure you can get back easily.

The station is now turned into a small museum about the Lodz during the holocaust. The memorial and museum are great and definitely worth a visit.
