Placowka jest jedna z najstarszych, najwiekszych i najprezniej dzialajacych tego typu w Polsce. The museum is on the ground floor and first floor. However, in the basement there are lockers (a refundable 2 zloty coin is required here) for your bags (they are narrow but full height), toilets and a disabled toilet. Luckily there is an elevator (winda)...More

Visited on the day it was free. Always a bonus!. Able to have headphones for translations. Excellent displays and very interesting content. Great day out.

We'd just been to Switzerland where I'd been disappointed in the museums. Then here was a small town museum that housed an interesting collection that is put together well.

It is nice and compact museum. You can manage it in 1...2h, interesting not boring exposition. Lot of coins and another metal, wooden, stone and clay findings Findings from Egypt are presented too. Many of findings are good restored. Perfect place for bad weather day...More
