The Renaissance building is beautiful, and it's a landmark that makes Poznan different from many old towns with a row of fancy facades. However, the show with mechanical goats at the clock tower is a bit overrated. It's not worth bothering and waiting for it.

There's nothing more important to see in Poznan than famous goats. There's only one "show" during the day at noon so be prepared to come there at that time!

Two goats are located on the town hall over the clock. At 12:00 they appear by exiting through the door and fight with each other. The goats are the symbol of Poznan City.

Just like the st. Mary's Trumpet Call form Krakow, Poznan has its own call played live at noon. The only difference is that Poznan has it better - with two legendary mechanical goats ramming into each other twelve times! So the audio is beautifully complemented...More
