This kilometers-long riverside promenade would have been a great place for a walk if it wouldn't have been an exhaustingly hot summer day. All the appealing-looking bars were still closed at noon.

Maybe the best time for a visit is in the evening when it is cooler and the bars are open. Or bring your own refreshments.

Well, well, well, Warsaw sure has scrubbed up its riverside pretty nicely recently, huh? Well, it has, kinda... but here’s the unique part - the west side (the left bank) has concrete boulevards (Bulwary Wiślane) with bars and cafes dotted here and there, while the right side of the river remains mainly wild providing a unique contrast between the two sides. Warsaw can now say its riverside boulevard is one of the best in Europe, if not the world; comparable to that of the Thames, the Seine and the Tiber (the Mayor’s words!). Gradually being completed in phases, an 800m section was opened in June 2017 and the latest linking section was opened in August. To get there, walk down to the riverfront from the Old Town, or roll right in by metro to Centrum Nauki Kopernik station, and choose to either walk, ride a bike, skate the length of the boulevard or if it gets cold, find an indoor riverfront cafe to sit in and enjoy the views. Other sections of the boulevards are currently being constructed and due to open in 2 years.

Very nice area to walk along or sit on a nice sunny day. As a first time visitor to Warsaw, were were surprised at how huge the River Vistula is.

After visiting the Praga area of Warsaw we decided to hop on the Metro and get off at the Vistula Boulevard stop. A beautiful walkway, located adjacent to the river, it has numerous restaurants, bars and cafe's as one strolls toward Old Town. On a nice sunny day this is certainly a nice way to see another part of Warsaw.

This is definately worth seeing. The river may look murky but the action and scenery is great. I love the section where they have setup an artificial beach for people to come relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

We did enjoy this walk along the river front. It was a fairly cold day which probably explains the lack of many people or the empty cabin areas probably used as coffee shops and restaurants in the summer.

It is very nice place for a walk just at the longest Polish river- Vistula. Sometimes you can expect heavy wind as it is large open area.

There are promenades, bars, restaurants and spectacular views alongside the Vistula river in Warsaw and it was late on in the day when we decided to wander along the river. The cafes etc were closed but there were plenty of seating on a warm October day to sit and while away the time. It would be a lovely place in the summer months with something for everyone to do.

The Vistula river has a great Promenade (looks like it was recently built) area, ideal for long walks with multiple cafes, restaurants and beer, play areas for young and old, areas to just sit and relax, beach area (yes) or just watch people. It is clean and very easily accessible. There is a Metro station (Kopernik?) next to it. IT is also great for a late evening walk. I believe it would be a great spot during the summer.
An excellent place to relax and take a break.
