The core idea of Warsaw Behind the Scenes is to let you experience the true city, to understand and to get to know it. Our friendly and easygoing guide will take you through times: you'll explore pre-war streets as well as monumental communist squares. This is not a regular tour, so we'll take you to the local people's bar to let you taste our traditional and delicius Polish food. At the end we'll relax in a cool pub or have a picnic at the riverside. Our tours are highly individual and flexible. This is not a bus city tour or a free walking tour, this is almost like a private tour!

Was so pleased we did this tour, rather than one of those large open-top bus type tours you find in most cities! We travelled around Warsaw in a communist-era vehicle in the company of Marek, who took us back in time through the city's 20th century history. We explored the communist period, the heartbreaking stories of the Jewish Ghetto and... More

Marcin and his friends, drove us around in their original and beautifully restored car and vans, while filling us with an in depth knowledge about the rich history of Warsaw, focusing mostly on the WWII era. These guides were so passionate about the city's history and culture, and had a strong desire to share Warsaw's story with us. They picked... More

I just got back from 4 days in Warsaw to run a half marathon with 90 woman living in London. We realized on the first day that some of us had an extra four hours to kill on our last day and wanted to learn more about the city. One of our group members had heard good things from another... More

Informative tour guide in a classic communist Zuk van. Our guide is knowledgeable, answered our many questions, helped us to see back in time with his many stories and facts about Warsaw's colorful history. The tour included the jewish ghetto, communist monuments and architecture, holocaust, new art, Catholicism and new architecture. We had an authentic polish lunch of historic significance.... More

This tour was the highlight of my visit. We were a large group and they were super accommodating even with last minute additions to our group. We ended up with 3 guides/drivers and all were so passionate about teaching us their country's history, I learned so much during this fascinating tour. The communist-era buses and car we drove in were... More

We chose the evening tour. Marcin is a great guy. He is very attentive and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed his explanations and had an opportunity to see so much. This was truly an amazing experience, one of the best we had in Warsaw.

A very cool way to see all around the city. - definitely beats getting a regular tour bus too. Very reasonable prices - 338zl for two people. Ask for Mark as your guide, he was great!
