Restaurants with Polish specialties are recommended - especially the sausage soup and Polish ice cream. You can buy silver and amber jewelries and lots of Polish presents for the guys back home.

You must go here, it's fantastic and Warsaw shops are not expensive! It reminded me of plaza mayor in Madrid. Well worth a visit

It is a must to visit this beautiful square in old town. We went there with our kids. We loved the colorful buildings around the square. Try to be early to beat the crowds.

Truly lovely square with lots going on and many cafes. Choose your cafe carefully, though. We chose the Rynek cafe and waited over 20 minutes for two tiny cups of so,so coffee that ended up costing 30 zloty because they said they had no change....

A really beautiful town square with lots of activity going on. There are buskers and music and a real sense of holiday. There are restaurants around the square and lots to see. Definitely recommend.

We went here on an organised tour during the winter and hot drinks are essential but plentiful. Beautiful buildings, history and friendly locals make this a must see

I wanted to love this museum, but the layout and story flow is so confusing, it is largely impossible to understand the story of the uprising. Such a pity.

I visited this area during both day and night- I would recommend a visit during both periods. The area was rebuilt in a mere 7 years! So impressive.

Its not an open air market. Restaurants are open late and some tourist shops are open pretty late.
