I didn't know the story of this Castle. It was completely and deliberately destroyed during World War the II. It was completely rebuild by its citizens stone by stone. An example of the strong will of the people and of a nati against the brutality of the war. A lesson not to forget in these times of short memory.

Lovely to look around and to reminisce and to remember it was only built in 1971 - and to remember the horrors of 1944/5.

Located in old town, this royal castle is also one of the best tourist spot to go. With the very cheap price for kids (3-16) $0.25 and $7.6 for adults, this castle is worth it. A lot of fancy stuff inside, makes me wanted to took a photo in every corner 😂 (yes you can take a photo inside but... More

I loved this place- the architecture, history, and design are all so beautiful. Make sure to take your time and read all the information on the signs for each room- it will definitely give you a better idea of the importance of each room, what it was used for, etc. The art is amazing. Take your time here- about 1-2... More

The Castle has turned completely into a greatly reformed museum with a lot of paintings, sculptures and others that could be saved or re done from the war time, the people attending is really warm and the whole cinema like play about the history of the castle is a can't lose, at least alot an hour and a half to... Beautiful castle, amazing architecture that makes me proud to be Polish, not to mention the history and overall beauty. However being followed and profiled by the security made us feel uneasy. Me and my boyfriend are both alternative looking and quite heavily at that. I understand this may cause concern however we were quieter than other tourists and didn't take... More

Very interesting place in Warsaw. You'll have a look at the private and also official rooms of several Polish kings and queens. Would be better, if there would be a possibility to learn more about the time the castle was inhabited. In my opinion to much information about the painting compared with the history. Small money to pay for entrance.... More

If you fancy a bit of culture in Warsaw then this is a great option. Next to old town we had a nice lunch then walked it off in the castle. A great displays of artwork adorn the walls guarded over by an army of ladies of a certain age who seem to be bred to work in Polish attractions!... More
