First of all, picture is not correct, but the adress is. It's not too difficult to locate, just enter the main gate at the mentioned adress and turn left. You will see a door (picture). Enter the door and get a ticket, than proceed to the main hall. There you'll see a film (with English subtitles), and can continue onwards... More

Tiny museum, a bit hard to locate but a must see in Warsaw. Standing in a building where such atrocities took place really makes you think. Visiting this museum enhanced my stay in Warsaw and my understanding of WW2 - another piece of a very sad jigsaw. I'd highly recommend a visit.

Do not think one can imagine what awful things happened here under the Nazi regime but In my opinion a must to realise the sad inhumanity perpetrated by man to his fellow man. Sad but worth a visit to realise how brave the inmates were!

Not a very large musuem, but it gives you a good understanding of how terrible the people of Warsaw were treated duing the occupation by Germany. Not easy to find, but if I can find it any one can, but the cabbies definatly can find it if you give them the address. The rooms give you an errie feeling walking... More

This museum is a very moving place which really does deliver an idea of the awful conditions those under arrest were held under. The etchings scratched on the walls by those under interrogation are harrowing. For such a small place the amount you learn is impressive. The English translations are good and there is an English version of the film... More

Although it is small, I’d say this is worth the visit. It is dark and haunting in this museum, and the pre-recorded sounds of screaming really adds to the effect. There is a good video right at the entrance – be sure to watch this as well. There are also a couple of interactive information terminals, with English, that were... More

The Gestapo was awful. We often focus on the horrors the Jews faced and forget political opposition to hitler could have you meet a very similar fate. The number of executions at the hands of the nazis is sickening. If you are walking around the city you will notice there is a sign on almost every building stating that the... More

You have to go to such places to remind yourself of how appallingly evil the Nazis were - and to understand the astonishingly heroic behaviour of the Poles under the Occupation.

I wouldn't go out of my way to see this place, but if you've visited Lawienski Park, you're in the neighbourhood. In theory a ticket to this should get you free entrance to Pawiak prison, but not for me. I enjoyed the commentary in English about the place.

This is a small museum a 40 minute walk from the centre. There is an introductory video and then you walk along a corridor which has various rooms and cells. There is exhibited all the weapons of torture used by the Gestapo. It only takes about 15 minutes to go round but that is enough. It is a truly chilling place and people need...
