I've visited the Saxon Gardens during winter, when it was all covered by the snow, so I couldn't appreciate fully the beauty of this park, but I can say that the statues were very nice and the location, just behind the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, which building use to be part of the destroyed Saxon Palace.

Beautiful gardens with statues ! A place that you can rest and take a deep breath ! The park also has fountains and a lake inside ! Next to the lake there is a kind of old Roman temple too ! Must visit and rest there !

The statues in this garden are amazing. We spent a few hours just walking around and looking at all the different statues. We would go back in a heartbeat

Loved this lovely park in the center of Warsaw. Laid out in the 1700s.. originally as royal gardens. The gardens have 21 baroque statues and lovely fountains. There was once a huge Saski Palace on the grounds. Some of the remaining ruin makes up part of the park where you find the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier guarded by Polish... More

Quite beautiful park near the city centre. Very spacious and home of a lovely Marconi fountain. Adjacent to the Monument to the Unknown soldier. Great place to relax.

The Saxon gardens are right behind the Tomb of the unknown soldier. The name derives from the Saxon (part of Germany) rulers, who's most important king August the Strong was also King of Poland. The gardens are perfectly manicured, and great to walk with fantastic autumn leaves colors.
