Not a lot to read but an impressive building with fantastic views of Warsaw and worth the ride in the elevator just to witness the staff sitting on a stool pushing the floor button for you!

Although it looks older, it was built by the communists in the 1950's. It is massive and houses the second highest clock tower in Europe. Well worth a visit and you can see it from so many places so you never get lost!!

We had some time to kill before our train to Warsaw Modlin airport, so popped into the Palace of Culture and Science solely to visit the observation tower. It costs 20PLN (about £5) to get an awesome aerial view of Warsaw. The lift (which only has space for maybe 6-8 people) takes less than a minute to get to the... More

Just a normal city attraction. Knowing that it catches the whole city of Warsaw from its top floor, but i would have prefered doing sonething else.

Went to the top of the palace and it was lovely seeing the city in snowy weather! Highly recommended if visiting Warsaw.

Nothing special about the building. It gives you a full view of the city from above. It is just s short visit, you can not spend the whole day there, just a couple of hours.

The first day in Warsaw we visited the 1950's Palace of Culture and Science. The visit was mainly to access the viewing platform on the 30th Floor which provided good views of the city. Access was by a fast moving lift operated by an attendant. Tickets were inexpensive and there was also a small coffee shop. I personally like the... More

It's a very imposing building, with typical soviet architecture. You can go up to a viewing platform on the 32nd floor for 20 zlotys, but remember to bring a jacket with you as it's quite a different climate up there and it can get cold! On the top there's also a small cafe and some souvenir shops to have a... More
