I would say that this street is part of any but a flying visit to Warsaw. Missing it would be like missing Oxford Street in London- but this has more history and wonderful sculptures, that all tell a story.

This street leads you from the downtown area to the Old Town, and it's a great way to get from one point to the other. There are many attractions on the way, such as the monument to Copernicus or the Presidencial Palace, among others. Very busy during weekdays, it is also filled with restaurants and shops. Definitely, one of the... More

Nice street with a lot of beautiful buildings, so much history there. However, typical touristic part to eat, there are much better places for that in Warsaw.

Nowy Swiat has a lot on offer: from churches and museums, to "Milk bars", restaurants, pubs, shops, etc.

Nowy Swiat is gorgeous during the day and even more beautiful at night - it really comes alive. Decidedly more expensive for shopping and eating than a lot of places in Warsaw, but definitely worth seeing and experiencing!

This is a rebuilt area of the city which has much to offer the wandering visitor. A good variety of shops and restaurants. Worth a look if you have plenty of time.

Decent selection of shops, cafe, restaurants (a few more sushi bars now than before), and close to old town. Was here with my gf (originally grew up in Praga district of Warszawa) and her mum visiting Piano Salon for piano recital organised by the store, and a few days later we went to Uniwersytet Muzyczny Fryderyka Chopina for guitar students...
