Really glad our entrance was free with a restaurant reservation as there are good views and little else. It's a terrible climb so we paid 10 euro for a drive up and walked the stairs back down. The wine cellar sells wine, the metal worker sell items, the printer sells...you get the idea. There was no folk music, etc. Disappointed... More

The weather is everything & the day we trudged up to the Grad was glorious. Didn't get there until after 10am so was expecting lots of visitors but luckily no. Managed to get to the preferred vantage points for that sort after selfie, walked steadily around the castle rooms & exhibits. A cold drink and taking in the scenery for... More

The castle overlooks the town and the lake. The views are outstanding in every direction. The museum is ok but nothing special. The cost of 10euro per person is too high for this castle. Also charge 2 Euro for parking. Worth a visit for the views themselves.

While visiting Bled, we went to the castle which looks as though it is coming out of the rock. It is magnificent and really well looked after. Each area had interesting information and incredible models of how people looked in the times the area was inhabited. Fascinating, worth a visit.

You can drive straight up to the castle and parking is just 2 euros. I did not bother with the castle. Most of them are the same anyways. I visited this place just for the view of lake Bled and the island. You can never get tired of the views here. Entry is 10 euros.

You can see Lake Bled from the castle. That is the main attraction. It is quite a walk up to the castle. Not a great place for anyone with mobility issues.

Views in all directions over the lake make the climb to the top worthwhile. The castle itself is okay, rampart walk fun looking out over the countryside. Display in castle a museum, not much of original castle left to see. Lake views only.

The views are fantastic. Not only can you look out on the Lake, of course, by from the museum, for example, you can look out the other way towards the fields and the Alps. The castle itself isn't terribly much. Interesting museum with some local artifacts as well as discussion of the natural history of the area. It's €10 to... More

We enjoyed our time there, it's very historical and they present it in a creative way such like putting you in the environment of that history, there's many parts to see inside and enjoy it. Go early morning if you want to enjoy the maximum

We found it to be meh and more of a tourist trap... maybe compared to other castles we've seen in England and Vienna... there are better things to do in Bled - visit Bovec, Soča valley, bike around Bled.
