Overview
More
Vogel is one of the most beautiful and popular ski resorts in the winter, and the most popular high mountain centre in other seasons. Our slogan “Vogel. Like a Fairy Tale.” is the perfect description of our resort in every season of the year, and we plan to increase our profile with it and give our visitors this fairy-tale feeling. We are determined to seize the opportunities offered by our location in the heart of the Triglav National Park (TNP). Vogel cable car takes you to 1535 metres above sea level throughout the year (except during the maintenance periods). In this way viewpoints high in the mountains are easily accessible and also make an excellent starting point for hikers. You can choose from single or return cable car tickets. The cable car can transfer up to 950 people per hour. The Orlove glave quad chairlift also operates during the summer season (mid-June to end of September) and provides a single or a return ride in the pleasantly refreshing summer climate. It stops at the top of Orlove glave with a paragliding take-off point close by.

Oh how we enjoyed Mt. Vogel! Even the one among us super afraid of heights was able to conquer the 4-minute cable car ride up and back down. The view at the cable car summit is breathtaking, but keep hiking up and up and the...More

I visited Mount Vogel during August and I must say it was one of our highlights of our trip. Taking the cable car and the chair lift for only 19€ per person was totally worth it. The trip up the cable car was worth it...More

I loved this place and the abundance of things to do. The cable car was fast. Once on top, you can zip line, hike, admire the views, and take the ski lift higher.

It was summer, so no ski was there. 15 euros for the sky-lift return tickets seems a bit expensive, but once you get to the top, you know it's worth it. The view is just amaziiiiing...!!!! It could be a bit chilly as you will...More

We chose the right time between thunderstorms and gained views to die for! Ski passes - even for a day- for cable cars aren't cheap but the cost was very reasonable. (€15 adult) Enjoyed coffee at the top and a short walk - definitely would...More

Google would have brought up the accurate answer here: vogel.si/summer/ski-resort/ Indeed "snow tubing" is only part of the (free of charge) childrens park which, from my own memories, is not that huge. But then again... More

Well the information is mostly true. The walking distance from your Chalet to the cable car station is actually 1,5km, which is yet possible to walk (albeit you will walk it up / down a hill, so rather not in skiing... More
