If you get the tourist pass from tourist information this is free. It takes half an hour from one end of the lake to the other. The beauty is staggering and takes in all the best of the lake. The guide gives a little talk on the history and geography of the area.

Mix everything and add some magic. The result is a wonderful experience on a beautiful place. The crew is fantastic. They told us interesting informations about history and geological details. Recommended!

The Bohinj region runs along the Sava Bohinjska river and Lake Bohinj. It really is the Alpine territory proper. Lake Bohinj can be glimpsed on a day trip like I did it, but the region deserves really several days stay. Plenty of lake activities in summer and apparently some nice trekking too. I came to Lake Bohinj on a bus... More

We caught the boat, which is electric. It is an Eco friendly lake so only electric boats are allowed on the lake. The boat cMe from Germany, is very comfortable, seats 52 passengers and is 58 years old. The driver and hosts were very informative on both going and return trips pointing out things of interest and explaining about the... More

We boarded into the boat at Ukanc (this place is at the east side of the lake), went to Ribcev Laz and back. Our guide told us interesting stories about the lake and the surroundings and we could try a fruit brandy as well. It was a very good way to see the lake.

We used the boat on 2 days to get to the Vogel Cable car and also to the Savica Waterfall. One day the weather was glorious and we enjoyed the English commentary by Simmon. We were able to use our Tourist card for a free trip. The boat is quiet and it is a smooth and tranquil way of crossing... More

A delightful way to enjoy Lake Bohinj, we used the boat trip to go one way only and then walk back along the north shore. Before we returned along the north shore we walked up to the waterfall at Slap Savica. In all this made a thoroughly good full day out. You can do the boat trip as a return... More

The trip is well worth it and you can do a return which works out a lot cheaper.Otherwise you can do a one way trip and enjoy the walk back. The captain on one of the boats makes his own Blueberry Brandy and for a small supplement you can sample it. It is to die for and thoroughly recommended
