Old town delight

You can not miss it, if you are walking in the old town. You have here the famous Robba fountain, the Cathedral, not far the City Hall and a lot of very good restaurants.

This is one of the main streets in the old town running next to the Cathedral of St Nicholas and then connecting to Mestni trg. Pedestrianised and easy for walking along with a few little cafes and shops along the way.

The Ciril-Metodov trg square is lined with numerous famous Baroque buildings. The most outstanding are the Church of St. Nicholas, referred to as "The Cathedral" (Stolnica), and the Archiepiscopal Palace (Nadškofijski dvorec). In medieval times, the square formed the lower end of the city's main artery, which ran along the Mestni trg and Gornji trg squares. It assumed its present... More

A cute little square, with good coffee shops, restaurants, the City Hall, and the famous Robba fountain.

Definitely a nice square is the town hall and the Robb-Fountain. Regarding the Town Hall, the original 18th century building was rebuilt.

Ciril-Metodov trg is a short street that borders St Nicholas church in Ljubljana's old town. It starts just northeast of Mestni Trg where the town hall is and is actually just a continuation of that street. It becomes Vodnikov trg in one short block just after passing St Nicholas on the left.
