Tours are available through the Tourism office and the building is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. most days. Originally a 15 c building, parts of it have been ‘modernized’ in a Baroque style in the 18th century.

We have seen many town hall during this trip but I do not find this hall anything special about it unfortunately.

Worth a stop on your wandering tour of Ljubljana's old town. Beautiful building, and there's usually an exhibit or event making stopping by worthwhile.

Dear readers, we went in as we were very interested what this was all about - well it was mostly about art we didn't understand. they have a book were you may leave a remark and a beautiful decorated Xmas tree.

Ljubljana Town Hall is in Old Town and is easy to get to. Inside is pictures of the history of Ljubljana. In the center is a well where they used to get water. It is a short worthwhile stop.

This was a stop on the walking tour of the town. The building is still in use and also houses some exhibits. It is very nice lit up at night. There are some nice cafes nearby.

This building is right on the main square in the old city. Classic architecture. Particularly pretty lit up at night.

Unfortunately for me he was not. However, our guide says that he is very amiable to meeting people when they visit the building. Town business is conducted here and it is located below the castle. Outside, three flags fly...the EU, Slovenia, and the town flag...More

This is an interesting old building, but the best part is the location in a great part of the Old Town.
