A most unusual piece of engineering lol. Well done, Ljubljana for making the decision to build this bridge.

All original ideas are on the surface. However, only after someone thought to them. Joze Plečnik invented this bridge. The old bridge could not cope with the traffic. What is difficult? Demolished and build a new one - wider. And only he raised the question: Why demolish the old one? Let's do two the next! Now everyone that thought seems... More

This bridge is an interesting structure as it is three bridges that merge into one. The history of the bridge and the interesting architecture are worth a look if you are in the area.

Yes it's a bridge, and a very nice one at that, and different given the design and architecture. In many ways the focal point of the city/river leading to two of the main squares and the old town. The area itself is buzzing with market stalls, shops, cafes, street entertainment etc. Enjoy it for what it is no matter what... More

Unique triple bridge that is one of the focal points in Ljubljana. Whether you walk across any of the 3 bridges or sail underneath it, it's beautiful from every angle. There's always plenty going on around the bridge too with lots of musicians and stalls.

I have never seen three bridges so close together. They are well maintained and in character, even though they were built at different times.

I visited this landmark at night on my way back to my hotel. The idea why there are three bridges is interesting by itself, but the area lends an air of romance with the strains of accordion music to complete the ambience.

It's hilarious that some reviewers impressions are "just a bridge meh" "move along, nothing to see here".. What I see is a pretty ingenious design solution. Plecnik created a most unusual and aesthetically beautiful link to the main square and newer part of town and a way to divert pedestrian traffic away from the more congested center bridge. Simple???Yes I... More
