Of course tourists should go and take pictures of this dragon themed bridge. The area around it was alos very pretty, with the river and trees in autumn foliage

Throughout my travels, I’ve learned a lot about the conflict between fire and the people. The wooden bridge that used to stand here continuously burned down. Until they installed this protective dragon (and finally used stone for the bridge). This dragon is Ljubljana’s emblem-symbolizing strength, unity, and might. It’s apparent origins derive from the famous Legend of Jason and the... More

A must in the city, since you will see the dragon in every souvenir shop. Very pretty and well done.

It just takes a few minutes to walk up to and they really are amazing. It will take a few minutes to see them but since they are so important to the city, it is a must

Dragon bridge iwas the first bridge ib Ljubljana made out of reinforced concrete. It is kind-a conservative, especially those dragons - but in a verry likeable way. As it is situated on east end of city market, it gives perfect view-point both on market as on Ljubljana castle. Do visit, it is worthy!

Dragons (mothers in law) are the main feature of this bridge. Scenic spot but otherwise nothing special. Except maybe the dragons that are expected to wiggle their tails when a virgin crosses it :-)

I love this bridge because it is in the middle of the old part of the city. There are lots of restaurants around as well as the central market

Loved this bridge as a photo spot. Since the dragon is the symbol of Ljubljana, and appears everywhere, I expected this bridge in the center of town as part of the pedestrian zone. Instead it's a few minutes walk to the east, along the river. Well worth the walk for the two large but charming dragon statues that flank what... More

The dragon is almost like the mascot of the city, and it's amazing! They protect the city, and add culture to the city. This bridge is small, but provides neat views of the city, and it's easy to navigate the city when you use this bridge as a point of reference.

May be we are not into architecture of bridges, so we didn't appreciate Triple Bridge as much as others did. We found Dragon Bridge, by comparison, more fascinating. Well, only personal preference. This bridge features bronze dragons. Why dragons? It goes back to the origin of Ljubljana. Greek mythological hero, Jason, together with his fellow Argonauts were sailing back to... More
