This is a pretty little church on the outskirts of the old town. The interior didn't seem to be open when I visited and so I had to content myself with admiring the outside. Quite an attractive church tower.

This building is not a cornerstone, it is corner building. Old path leads up to the castle, road from the crossing near the church is the second part of Gornji trg (Upper square). Tower is another orientation sign, showing way up to the heaven and in reality to the castle hill. Inner part of the church is nothing special. Best... More

This small church is with some nice iconography (colorful saints in primary colors with gold leaf background). There are nice pink spiral marble pillars on the altar St Florian is the patron saint of firefighters. Ironically within a 100 years of being built it suffered terribly from a fire. The church was closed when we went there . But the exterior looked nice. We would like to have seen it, maybe next time.
