Just a short walk from the centre you can enjoy the best view of the city. A gravel path takes you up through the south-facing vineyard to the top, where, during the summer, there is also an outdoor cafe to get a drink. Lovely!

A wonderful excursion (walk) with a magnificent view of Maribor and the Pohorje hill. The way to that place is not exhausting and therefore can be a nice family trip. Refreshing drinks and food should be taken with you. The view and the clean air...More

The Piramide hill is the Maribor’s icon. Standing on the top of the hill, ringing a bell and enjoying the wonderful view across the city - for many people from the city every-days goal! 15 minutes walk from the city park to the top -...More

Nice hill above northern parts of Maribor with romantic looking vineyards on its southern slopes and a gently climbing footpath. It takes some 15 - 20 minutes to reach the summit and be then awarded with a magnificent view over whole city of Maribor, including...More

Very easy walk-up to this viewpoint. You may either walk through the vineyards or through the forest. Quite some people like the view so don't expect to be alone there. Apart from the view you may see some excavations up on the hill. And if...More

The Slovenians like to walk. I saw couples, a school group, a woman with her dog, and an old man valiantly making it to the top. Short climb and great view. I got lost walking back to my hotel as usual haha, but a nice...More

While this is quite a walk, the view from the small platform at the top is stunning and makes it all worthwhile. Signage to the site is poor though, such that we ended up walking up the rather rough gravel road, whereas we could have...More

Start walking in Maribor's oldest park with old big trees from all parts of the world. Feeding squirrels and watching kids play. If you continue with walk you will get to 3 lakes and from there there are two paths to Piramida: from the forrest...More

A pleasant walk amongst the wine plants. Great view if you are lucky with the weather. The café wasnt open even tough it was supposed to. Thats the only downside.

Relatively easy and short walk to the top. Path is wide and gradual increase. Can sit at the top and enjoy a local wine from the bar and take in the beautiful view of the entire city.

Hi. There are a lot of parking places under the hill. They are all in a white zone. It means that you have to pay 50c per hour - every day between 8.00 and 17.00 except sunday when it's free all day.
