Radovljica’s old town is simply lovely. Painted houses that date back to 15th and 16th century bring you back in histopry, a church from early gothic period is so elegant and simple, little shops that offer sweet breads, local produtcs like pumpkin oil and cheeses,...More

Lovely village in the mountains. Reasonably priced restaurants and lovely little local coffee shops. Friendly people and close to loads of outdoor activities!

This old town is one of the best preserved old towns in Slovenia, especially the castle is having a certain flair; unfortunately all the museums were closed on Sunday, what is a pity. Although January we have drank a coffee in the old Cafe (outside)...More

OK if you happen to be passing through but would not make a special trip here. The Gingerbread museum, although cute, is tiny and a cash grab.

If you are staying in Bled, Radovljica is a good choice for a day tour. The old town is small but very beautiful. They have a small museum and one of the oldest restaurants that offers traditional Slovenian cuisine.

Radovljica Old Town has some shops and restaurants. We had lunch at the Lectar Restaurant and the food was excellent and don’t miss the gingerbread museum and the gingerbread demonstration. There is also a bee museum.

It is a very nice, old Slovenian town with a great view over the Alps. Houses in this town come from the 14th, 15th centur, there are galleries and museums. We loved the oldest ginger bread bakery: Lectar and the restaurant situated there.

Old section which has thankfully been preserved. Building facades indicate their age. Easy to see in an hour or so, without diversions.
