Emily is a superb guide to the city of Budapest. Her tours are not "canned" or scripted. She is very flexible and can craft your tour to your desires. We opted for a half day driving/walking tour to get acquainted with the city. The Castle...More

District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses
the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and
colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in
an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes
and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic
crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of
the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in
Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly

Hello Emily. My wife Bonnie and I (Larry) arrive late in the day on Saturday October 15th departing early Wednesday morning. We would like an overview personalized walkin/riding tour for 2-4 hours on Sunday, and possibly another 2-4 hours on Monday or Tuesday. We have not ever been to Budapest and would like to see the main attractions as well as something special you might thin we would be interested in. I love photography, and we both love art. We are not too much into shopping. We want to understand some history and culture and what it is like to live here. Thank you in advance!
