I've been a few times to Budapest, and twice I found my way to the Fisherman's Bastion next to Matthias Church. It is one of those places where you can't help taking photos of everything in and below it. On all sides you have a...More

We had a great time visiting that place. It is big so you can walk around. There is a restaurant, the Hilton hotel, some towers you can climb and watch over the city (paid), so it is genuinely a nice place to visit.

I don’t know how to explain the enjoyment I felt going around this place. Impressively grandiose and all superlative adjectives to describe its beauty. Soooo artistically built!

Nice to take a walk to see. When you are up there go and see the Castle, the statue of St. Stefen and the Fishermans Bastion. Pity to be in Budapest and miss these places.

Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a
