This is one of the most beautiful areas in Budapest. The buildings and view of the water are breath taking. There is also a great deal of history of the fisherman and the Marriage Cathedral and so much more that should not be missed.

Despite the July crowds, a visit to the Fisherman’s Bastian was very enjoyable. It’s like being on top of the world, at least the top of Hungary, as you look across the Danube River to the ‘Pest’ side.

Very hot day and sadly the ice cream kiosk was closed!! However the church and views were stunning. Good idea to have a guide to make the best use of your time and learn all the the information about the area.

This is a nice view of the Pest side but to get to the very top you have to pay the equivalent of 3 euros (get a bottle of sparking water with it).
