This is a fabulous history museum which we spent well over two and a half hours in, it is spread over three levels in this beautiful building. From the ticket office we cut across the large round reception room and headed downstairs to the ground...More

In our group we had a 12 year old, 14 year old, 2 adults in their 40's and a grandmother in her mid 70's. All of us really enjoyed the visit and learned a lot about what life in Hungary was like over the centuries....More

Being senior citizens of a certain age entry was half price. Even at full price the exhibition is good value for money. Readily approached by tram metro or bus, the museum is housed in a grand building and despite a flight of steps up access...More

Disappointing museum. Really, we only went here to escape the hot sun for a couple of hours, however we struggled to kill an hour. The building facade looks impressive but the exhibits inside are not displayed well and slightly incoherent. The gift shop is a...More

This Museum is interesting in the sense that you get a good idea of Hungarian history. The exhibits are not very impressive and the Museum has no air-condition in the permanent collections.

This time I didn't have time go inside, but noticed that the famous tank from the garden in front of the musem is missing. Hope they'll bring it back soon.

We spent several hour soaking up the history and culture of a fascinating country. There were also really good temporary exhibitions which were well worth spending extra money to see.

Hi there - I'm afraid I have no idea therefore can't help with your question. As a suggestion, it might be worth emailing the museum. Good luck.
