One of several bridges across the Danube River taking people to and from Buda and Pest. There is the Chain Bridge (this one), the Elizabeth Bridge and the Liberty Bridge. All different and all beautiful in their own designs. If you enjoy exploring bridges, this is one you should explore while in Budapest.

Bridge is flanked by lions on both sides. Only accessible by foot. No way you can stop your car to try and take a photo of this. The city is pretty accessible by foot. We were warned about taking taxis here.

One of the many beautiful bridges that connects Buda and Pest. When it's all lit up at night it appears to look like a strand of pearls.

Its a nice touristy thing to do - walk across the Chain bridge, enjoy the views of the danube and the views on either side of the bridge. Must do in Budapest - and its a short walk too.

Just another bridge if not for the history behind it. Can give it a miss if you don't have the time.

All bridges had previously been bombed to bits by the Nazis during the war. On Liberty Bridge in the evening, young people were having picnics and sitting on... More
