Walk over at night and take your time, one on the bucket list for sure. Be sure to look at the lions and the detail on the way...

We walked the bridge both at night and during the day. We were staying along the river on the Pest side and would walk across the bridge to head to the Castle District. The bridge is scheduled to close in early fall this year for...More

Very interesting and Historical bridge. The bridge was destroyed by the Nazis at the end of WW2 and then rebuilt in 1949. We enjoyed walking over the bridge and enjoying the views.

Because of its appearance and importance, this bridge reminds me of the Brooklyn Bridge. It is a fun walk across from Buda to Pest and gives terrific views of both sides of the city.

If you are doing a run or walk around the city, you could do well to include this on your route along with nearby sights.

The view of this bridge as you get nearer takes your breath away and the views from on the bridge are some of the best in the city.

We walked this marvelous Chain Bridge (one of only two in Europe) from Buda to Pest and back. Provides a great view of the Parliament Buildings from the Pest side.

We were on the Danube river cruise when we saw the Chain Bridge. Very beautiful indeed. It is one of the most beautiful among the 5 bridges we sailed passed. The other four bridges being, Margaret Bridge, Elizabeth Bridge, Liberty Bridge & Petofi Bridge.
