I was there with my family (5 people from 10 to 50 years old) and we loved it sooo much! We spent 6 hours there and there were so many things to do that we couldn't try everything! We could understand the mystery of how a fakir could lie on a bed of nails, how a piece of curved metal... More

It is entirely worth making some extra effort in trying to find it - it's far from the centre of Budapest, in a shopping mall, and not very well marked, but once you get there you'll forget about troubles of getting there!

It is a nice place to spend your afternoon in family or alone because both the adults and children find something to do and learn. There are a lot of experiments that you can practice and learn how things work, mechanics, physics and different fields of science. I liked that the description and instruction for the experiments are both in... More

The Palace of Wonders used to be in Millenaris Park in a huge, wonderful, light-filled building. It really was wonder-ful. Now it is small, crowded, loud, dull. There are not nearly the things to do as the old place. Our kids used to beg to go, now they don't even want to go in.

I can't imagine anyone have fun there. I was with friends who had kids 2 and 4, they were bored as well. We ended up leaving after 20 minutes. Noisy and boring, that's all I have to say about the place

We love the Palace of Wonders. We have been many times and never get tired of it. There are lots of fun activities which the kids enjoy with placards explaining the science behind each one. Most are in English.

I went there after I organized my day with concierge at my hotel. Unfortunately, when I got to where it was supposed to be, they advised me the musem has changed to another address in the far outskirts of Budapest. I did not bother to go as it was extremely far removed and not even on the map. Be careful... More
