I recommend to visit the Tropicarium anytime, but especially in a rainy day! The tropical rain, the tunnel throu the acvarium, the sharks and the see cats are all awesome!

It's a great place to visit for kids and not only. We enjoyed a lot , my daughter was amazed seeing the sharks and other species of marine world. You can see also the species from Finding Nemo :) .

It's definitely a must see place in Budapest. It is huge, has a lot of species, not only fishes, but also other species... birds, monkeys, snakes, alligators, turtles a.s.o. There is a pool where you can play with stingrays (lots of them). The tropical storm...More

In the largest marine aquarium in Central Europe you can reach out and touch sharks (well, almost – there’s glass keeping you safe) pet sting rays, lounge in the heat and enjoy a real tropical rainstorm next to huge lazy alligators. This is not just...More

Lots of things to see, great atmosphere! The jungle section has weather simulation with rainfall and thunders, also the birds roam freely.

Its similar to most aquariums that one would find in places like Dubai and Singapore - the differentiator was touching the sting rays in the open pool - this did strike a chord with my kids. located in a shopping centre - can be combined...More

10 minutes of waiting for tickets it's a standard, same like a many visitors inside. But you may see many interest animals. Ideal for rainy day.

Located far away from the center, inside of shopping center. A very small place. A tour will take no more than an hour. My 7 years son loved it . But does not worse to driver there only for it.

Except the cashier was quite rude to us... animals are great, it is a good fun for family with kids or for a date. The place itself is a bit travel from the city centre, but there is a good and reliable public transport there.

We had a family trip to the Tropicarium. My kids (5 and 8 years old) loved it. There are a lot of well maintained aquarium and terrariums. Touching the rays and looking at the sharks was definitely our highlights. We spend about 2 hours there.
