Beautiful building with stunning outdoor heated pools and a complex of indoor pools. Really relaxing. A one off experience not to be missed. The highlight of Budapest.

Good selection of spas one was closed when we were there but made no difference. Take some flip flops else you'll be walking about barefoot! Towel hire and massage but we didn't bother. Great day out and we were lucky in the outdoor pool as 28degrees in March. I bet even better in colder weather as the spring source keep... More

Just do it. You will regret it if you don't. Its too mad not to at least try it. You will walk away with a smile one way or another.

These baths were recommended by a local gentleman we got speaking to at a restaurant. They are located near Heros square, just facing the zoo. There are two entrances. Ignore the first as you approach from Heros Square and walk round towards the right and entre here. You can pay a basic entrance fee or hire a locker (small saloon)... More

Sharing a cabin the entrance price for 2 people is 30 euros. The cabin was so dirty and the staff wasn't friendly and didn't speak very good English. The bath outside was great but I couldn't stay in it longer than 30 minutes. The bathes inside were disgusting so we stayed outside. I'm glad we did it, but in the... More

After four days in Budapest I felt like I needed to relax, that`s why I choose this place. Very nice building, planty of different pools indoor and outdoor. Such a shame when I arrived they weren`t able to provide me with slippers, so I had to walk barefoot and it was freezing outside, plus nowhere you can seat or lie... More

Fun place, it's a must visit as Budapest is known for its baths. However I'd advise to bring your own towel and a pair of flip flops, you won't regret it!

This is a heads up for those going to the baths. When you walk in, everything seems to be confusing. There are women in white uniforms providing information about a spa, baths, food and drinks. They are a licensed group, trying to sell you additional services. There is another group, selling Thai massages. And lastly, if you only want to... More

On our last day in Budapest we wanted to relax, so we booked our tickets to the bath and some massages. The locker rooms meant that we could store our luggage, and we chose one of the locker rooms as opposed to cubbyholes. The weather was stunning which probably really helped us being able to lay back and snooze -... More

Szechenyi Baths is located in the middle of city park, its one of two dozen hot springs in Budapest. Its accessable and for me fun. It has a stunning outdoor complex, including pool jets, bubbles, and circular rapids. You see locals in all shapes and sizes, some even squeezed into tiny swimsuits, of course there are old boys in speedo's... More
