We all was really looking forward to going to the baths and we could get in to free because we had a budapest travel card that gives you free or discounted entry to places, but I would highly recommend not going to this one and go to one of the more touristy ones the staff was very rude to us... It is a nice spa for relaxing and cure. Every pool has different temperature, they are clean and have enough sitting places. There are two swimming pools outside and a very nice, cozy spa surrounded by the building. When it is dark they turn on the lights in the warm pool, this with the water vapor gives an awesome atmosphere.

- : Disappointed by the poor indications and the non-commercial gesture of the director. I paid for something I didn't get. I went in Lukacs Baths on February 23th 2017 and as Budapest made me walk a lot, I wanted a relaxing massage to feel better. I paid for a 40' massage that was supposed to be done at 5:30.... More

The baths have several different pools, sulphur pools, outdoor heates swimmingpools, , outdor wellness with bubles, massage mats, mammut showers, all kinds of saunas. The layout is quite confusing, and everything is written in Hungary, but the staff is very helpful. Slippers and a swimmingcap are obligatory. Most users are Hungarian, which makes it a very authentic experience.

Me and my sister went to check it out only because it was free with our Budapest card. Getting there from Pest side was very easy, we took the tram. The building is old outside and inside. Looks kind of like a hospital. It has 4 or 5 pools inside and several outside, they are all different temperature. Also has... More

First and only bath I visited in Budapest so I certainly miss benchmark. This said Lukacs Baths went above my expectations. I enjoyed exploring the many different rooms and by observing local people, you easily get what you're supposed to do, what to wear... the staff is really helpful if need be. My favorite were the very warm water pool,... More

We arrived in Budapest after an early start and decided we would go for a walk over the Danube near our hotel, knowing the Lukacs Baths were close we took our bathers in case we went in. We first found the Pump Room where we enjoyed a snack as we hadn't eaten we then went into the bath area. There... More

We went as we heard lots of hype about it but it was a let down. We went in free of charge as we used the budapest card. Once inside you are left to fend for yourself. No info about what to do, crowded place. Level of cleanliness is fantastic comparing the amount of people visiting the place.
