This wonderful synagogue on the Buda side of Budapest was built about the 1890's and has been revived by a wonderful young Rabbi who has brought the synagogue back from near extinction to three hundred families today. It is a beautiful red brick structure and its ark contains a number of old Torahs saved during the Holocaust.

Very nice little synagogue. Inside is beautiful with wooden chairs, golden lights and very familiar atmosphere. It's living history. Open for tourists.

Is an old concept to have the Synagogue in the Middle of a Courtyard of Buildings, is not seen in many places in the world.
