Palatinus is a huge water park on the Margaret Island. Easy to get to on public transportation. Initially, we were reluctant to visit here being a Sunday, assuming large crowds, but the facility is so spread out that it did not feel crowded, after all....More

This is one of the best things we did whilst in Budapest. We decided to visit Palatinus on Margaret Island as opposed to the other spas/thermal baths as we love water parks and slides. This did not disappoint! There are four slides which were all...More

This was a great retreat for us on a hot day. Our two teenage boys loved it here. You pay to get in...approx. $40 and the lockers and changing rooms are included. Plenty of food options. Numerous pools including a kiddie area, 5/6 large slides,...More

More than a dozen pools, outside and in. Baby pool with shallow water and plenty of features kept grand children occupied for an hour.

Came here on a fairly sunny and warm Saturday. It was busy, but not overly crowded. The pools were nice, but I wish more were colder.

This place is huge, it's popular, and it has a ton of pools at different temperatures. But I was looking for a place for a swim, to knock out some laps and get a little workout in the pool. It's what I do. The beauty...More

Not as famous as the Gellert baths, the Palatinus bath and pool complex is a must for families (and adults too). The location itself is worth a visit - the bus ride (bus #26) along Margaret Island is really nice. BTW, consider getting a bike...More

We are regular visitors in this attraction. It is Budapest’s largest in terms of areas to swim outdoor but it is also busiest, especially from around 11 am to 7 pm. If you do not have a car, it is a great option to combine...More

Great place to have a break from Budapest city life. A nice place to visit as a part of seeing the island. Only drawback was that there was a lot of smoking outside of the places it was allowed.

I think they do close around middle September. But there are plenty of hot baths in and around Budapest.
