The cave is not very big or spectacular, but it has portions that are nice and look like cauliflower. The ticket is 3-4 euro (if you choose to take tickets for multiple caves, the price is lower- there are 4-5 caves in the same region).

just a 15 minute walk from a more important cave but this is also very nice and interesting. These two should make a nice little afternoon trip.

This is an interesting program. It takes 30-40 minutes. Tours are running on every hour. The adult ticket is HUF 1,300. Our guide was very good and told a lot of stories. We covered about 300 meters. The air was so fresh and the acoustic...More

Rainy public holiday so went underground. Great tour that starts on the hour. Guide spoke perfect English. Accessible by public transport. Number 29 bus within a 100m. 40 minute tour very informative. Didn't do the other cave where you have to crawl through.

You have to go in with a guide, and not all of the guides speak English, so you might have a bit of a wait. But the tour is quite entertaining, lots of little stories about the cave to tell. The exhibits outside the cave...More

A rather short (20 minutes one way, 300 meters) but very fun tour. The guide was great and catered for both Hungarians and foreigners (in english). Would recommend if you have not been caving before. Very accessible to everyone as well.

Fun cave with paved walk ways. We had 9 kids ages 16-2 and they did fine. Lots of cave popcorn but no bacon. I got the combo ticket for my older boys to do the other cave another day. I thought the price was ok....More

Well, i have to admit that one reason to visit the cave was the fact that it was 36 degrees celsius on the outside and the travel guide promised 12 degrees in the cave ;) So in any case the warning that you should wear...More

Not here for sure ... but I recollect there were other caves around Budapest which gives you a more authentic caving experience - not sure if you can actually dig for minerals there though! Check out PÁLVÖLGYI CAVES
