Great music

It's quite small but the music makes up for that. Went here on a hen do and it was perfect for us. It is quite crowded but definitely enough room to dance. A great night out.

In Budapest nightlife I do not always know where to end your night, right? In Szoda you have guaranteed cheap drinks, cool music and cool environment! You have to go downstairs to discover that little dance floor that - it's true - can get claustrophobic in very hot evenings but still, I can't tell you how many times I left... More

The ceiling is covered in manga illustrations and the overall decor is quirky, Even though the bar was empty we had a great time and can... More

Szoda is a small bar, full every time. The place has good staff, good music, so-called dancing music, but almost the same day by day. I remember went there after my first drawing exam, too. It was a real nice night.

Szoda is a very nice little club on wesselenyi street, the music is great, the prices are affordable. The only problem with it is that it is relativly small and popular, therefore there is ALWAYS a crowd

Thank Somogyi S

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
