The ornate building of the stock exchange palace is located on one of the most famous squares, Liberty Square, opposite the National Bank of Hungary. Money faces money. The enormous late-eclectic-style building complex with its entrance, reminiscent of a Greek temple, gives the visitor a grandiose impression. Four floors with a mini-tower watching over me. The walls that remind me of both the fortress and the church are making me feel like a dwarf. As my gaze glides up from the high pillars to the ornate ceiling as if to suggest it, with wealth, you can ascend to any height.
Then, in 1948, the stock exchange closed down, and the proud building was given successive functions until Hungarian TV moved in. Then again, it became a temple, a temple of news, entertainment, and culture. Until 2009 when he became too small for the TV and moved out. The beautiful proud building has since gone empty. Meanwhile, it was bought by the Tippin Corporation of Canada, a real estate development company that might be renovating it if and if the rumor is true, offices were created. I wonder if they would leave the Paternoster, a very entertaining version of the ordinary elevator, since ones it was very tempting to visit the building to use this form of location change.

Good location, charismatic building, stylish revamp of historic location. High quality materials etc. However some laxness on mask usage by a couple of staff, and the room was not turned down when we requested it. The beautiful restaurant is ruined by several large TV screens

We only came because of the scene in the new movie Blade runner. We could not get inside, but instead we took a walk and saw the beautiful Gabriel angel in the park. It’s a monument for the jews who lost there lives under the word war. Very beautiful.

Not been into this splendid looking building but I really do enjoy the style of architecture .
The building is really impressive and the area around is wonderful.
I love grand architecture and the Stock Exchange Building is most certainly grand and offers some great photographic opportunities.
Very easy to locate on Szabadsag Ter ,the famous and historical tram No 2 drops you off at the building.

The building was built in 1902 - 1907 and originally housed a stock exchange. After the Second World War, the building housed the Lenin Institute, and since 1955 - the seat of state television.
Now they are planning to open a hotel here.
