More
Aeropark is an open air aviation museum located next to Terminal 2 at Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport. The Museum offers Soviet era airplanes, a flight simulator, a souvenir shop and a cafe. Some of the planes can be visited inside, including the cockpit! Take the captain's seat and listen to our guides’ stories! Come and visit us, we are open every day from end March until end October, and every weekend in between. Parking is free. Public transport: take the bus 200E from Kobanya-Kispest metro station or Liszt Ferenc International Airport Terminal 2, get off at the first stop after the Terminal ("Repulomuzeum"), then just follow the sidewalk.

I am an air museum enthusiast so this was a natural fit for me. This is a limited collection so unless you want to see some of these relics left over from the days of Hungary's Malév airlines. I liked the exhibits but it is...More

Nice airport, overseeable shopping area, clean as a whistle. Just outside is an old airplane sight, good fun. Airport itself works flawless, except security check a bit slow.

Well organised airport. Once through security everything is centrally located. Gate numbers were already printed on the boarding passes, so once you know where your gate is located check out where the nearest toilets are, as some are a bit of a walk from the...More

Definately recommend a guided tour that includs the Aeropark and the inside of the íairport. You can see the take off of the airplanes from a very close angle of view.

As an aviation enthusiast, this journey has been a wonderful travel back in the hungarian past. We step on the fully renovated oldtimer Ikarus 55 (Malév Hungarian air transport livery) that has started our journey. It was a great experience to ride this bus (in...More

Professional and friendly service. The Li-2 flight was smooth and cool, far not so noisy and bumpy as I had expected. I recommend to visit the Aeropark for everybody and do the Li-2 flight! :-)

Entered and left Hungary via this airport. It was not, in my view, the most organised of airports. Impossible to fond any airport staff to ask questions or make enquiries, so had to rely on the goodwill of the travel and exchange staff, Minimal time...More

Having booked wheelchair assistance due to poor mobility there were no seats in the check in area and the check in staff were really unhelpful.

Near to Budapest Airport is a small open air museum which displays ex Soviet era airliners almost all of which once flew with the former Hungarian state airline Malev which ceased operations in 2012. You can actually see the Aeropark as you approach and leave...More
