Fantastic building

Stunning architecture. Historical site with beautiful views over the Danube and to the two countries bridge. Didn't have chance to go in so another visit is planned!!

It looks big from bellow but when near it becomes massive. The place just shows how important the place is in hungarian history. Great to come by night for the views and athmosphere!

Very exciting place, impressive building worth of visit. Necessarily visit the dome with nice viewpoint which you can observe from the wide region including Slovakia.

All this area around the Cathedral is very nice. You got a view on the Danube river, and a cool "chill-out" zone in the park out there. But- you also got an option to pay money and get into the Cathedral- I DON'T RECOMMEND IT! You will pay pretty nice amount of money just to get on the top of... More

This is a fantastic religious building in a spectacular setting and I can't believe it's not better known. It's worth a visit and buying an all inclusive ticket that includes the crypt, museum and the lung busting climb to the top of the dome, which has a Danube vista to rival the castle in Budapest.

Clearly something of an iconic building within Hungary, this vast cathedral is well presented for the visitor and is well worth a couple of hours. The interior is impressive and well cared for. There was an excellent trail available for free for children to help them explore the cathedral. Pick up a copy at the entrance and hunt down the... More

We went here on a river cruise and spent a while inside admiring the architecture and the massive canvas. Outside there is lots to see, and beautiful views over the river and the town.

Wonderful place with excellent exposures. What a pity that employees access ruined my good impression. Almost no one spoke English or German. It was impossible to communicate here. Tickets can not pay by credit card. Personal behaved very unfriendly, especially to children. Most of them were grumpy pensioners. I am sorry that such a special place, it has had such... More

It is the "biggest...", the "highest...", the "thickest..." in Hungary. It is just gorgeous. With 400 or so stairs to the top it is also a great exercise.

Huge Basilica. I personally prefer the one in Budpest. But if you are in the area, then it is certainly worth dropping in. It will take you about 30 mins to look around. There is a very nice café there serving good quality lunches.
