It's good to visit this place because you can get a taste of History. The Djami was built in the 17th century. Mill Bastion is from 1541-42., Velprech -Tower: 1239, Battlement walkway, Suleiman Stone. My favourite is the recostructed Renaissance water.machine. But you can enjoy modern spirit, too.: Danube terrace with magnificent view and cafe, restaurant. It's worth a visit.

A visit to the reconstructed Renaissance water machine - which provided the castle with water - will help you appreciate the innovations and the technical knowledge of past times. The mosque, the garden, the cafe and the restaurant together make a nice and peaceful spot. All this was renovated by a German businessman, not by the Hungarian state.

Turkish Mosque has not minaret yet. All of castle and around near to complete renovation and I hope minaret also renovete in future. Mosque is not use as praying. Mosque turned to Cafe and museum. There is very nice inner garden and access to Danube River. After Esztergom Castle, there must be visited.

Turks have been here for 150 years and the only thing remains this little mosque which was destoyed mostly. Only the minaret was restorated but half of it. It's still there by the river Danube

It's good to see a place of great historical importance renovated and in use. This mosque was built at the point where the Turks broke through the castle walls in 1543. A large Memorial stone to Sultan Suleiman adds history.
