A beautiful Mosque cum church. This place has its importance as it is the only church with the dome. One must go here and should know the history behind the mosque and the church and the dome.

The mosque is situated in the main square. You will find it very easy. Once upon a time there was a mosque but today that is center of Catholicism where they held Mass.

This is a beautiful church that started as a church, then became a mosque, then a church again. It has architectural elements of all the prior entities combined itno its current form. A must see in Pécs.

For its size, the blending of religious cultures is quite tastefully done. The red-and-white arches bring to remembrance those in the Mezquita of Cordoba - which is on another plane of experience altogether. So for a more compact experience, the Pasha Gazi Kassim mosque delivers nicely. Be careful of visiting hours on Sunday as the place is used for worship... More

Situated in the main square and one of the most picturetaken objects in Pécs. Possible to visit the "museum" from the basement entrance. A complete katakomb/ graveyard under the church still in use. The church (ex mosque) has some really nice paintings both on the walls as well in the ceiling. Lots of memories from the Ottoman period. You will... More

The mosque, which today serves as a Catholic church, located in the center of Pecs. It looks fascinating and it is mandatory to be rich. It is especially beautiful when lit, and the interior is totally unusual combination of Islamic architecture complemented by elements of Christianity. Really something unique.

This church-cum-mosque-cum-church is a beautiful structure and a great example of the struggle between religious powers in the region. There is a 1000 forint fee for adults and I'm not really sure what one pays to see as most of the tombs are blocked off and one can only view the praying areas which is not really awe inspiring. There... More

Interesting combination of an old, traditional Turkish religious building and Christian church. Nice interior with very beautiful paintings that combine both religions. In the lower part of the mosque is the vault which is quite interesting, especially because of the central painting. You should really visit this mosque, as it is known as the symbol of Pécs.
