Stefania Park, shady in the summer, is notable for a children's play park and a large white marble statue of Queen Erzsébet (opposite the Theatre) on Stefania street.
Stefania Park lies on the west bank of the Tisa River, just north of the Belváros bridge. Between the river and the park lies the Huszár Mátyás road, which allows traffic to by-pass the city centre. Between the Huszár Mátyás and the park is the embankment (levée in the US), which prevents the Tisa's regular flooding from repeating the destruction of 1879.
Atop the embankment is an un-named pedestrian walk-way from where there are good, up and down, river views.

The pedestrian walk-way continues under the Belváros bridge where it is now named as Korányi fasor (alley). It is however an open space.
This section of the walk is sculpturally more interesting.
First, there is a depth marker of the Tisa's most recent floods; then a bronze sculpture for Szeged's cicada's, then a pair of shoeless women and lastly a memorial to Hungary's 1956 football team.

Nice park which goes alongside Tisa river. Not very big, but rather nice place for relaxing and enjoying the sunshine.

Nice park, great for walking along the Tisza river. Home of the ruins of the old castle. Good place for children since there is a nice playground.
Park would benefit from new benches.
Worth seeing.

Stefánia is a park with a children's playground, a good view of the Tisza river and the remains of Szeged's castle. Inside, there is usually an exhibition worth seeing. We saw the Titanic exhibition once, it was really interesting. It is very close to downtown, and you can find nice restaurants nearby.

Park with trees and shadows. Statue the hungarian Queen Sissy and the famous gipsy folk musician Dankó Pista. The nearby restaurants has some concert in the evening. It's worth to check in.
Árnyékos, fás terület Sissyvel és Dankó Pista szobrával. A szomszédos utcákban esténként koncertek az éttermekben. Jó hangulatú hely, érdemes megnézni.

Stefania is park in New Szeged, along the Tisza river. It is recognizable by marble statue of Hungarian queen better known as Sissy. Also you can see remains of the Szeged castle where in 1444 was signed the Szeged Peace.
