This is the church of kings. I mean that years ago the Hungarian Kings were crowned in this church. The crown oat the top of the spire is to show that this was the place of coronations. It is a beautiful structure. Next to it...More

Perfect sightseeing stop or a place for an escape from a fast paced day. Very nice renovated historical church. Small and cute St Anne´s chapel just for prayer. Free entrance.

The st Martins Cathedral is an eyecatcher in the entire area. The outside is quite stunning in it's own special style. the inside's 'just a pretty, beautiful old church'. Maybe i've been touring around to much, and have seen to many churches; maybe the outside...More

Lovely Gothic church with stunning vaulted ceiling and colourful, tall windows. Plenty of things to see inside the Cathedral, and easy to look at exterior. Only a short walk from the Old Town.

Beautiful Church in the centre of Bratislava, beautiful outside as well as inside. Easy to reach, it is located close to all the other attractions. It is closed during services, it is really worth a visit.

Is incredibly hard not to appreciate this building by its construction, acoustics and style. The church has a gothic air to it, yet it seems it belongs to the fortification of the old city (a little like the castle, a little like it belonged to...More

Saturdays are apparently busy times for the cathedral, as visitors are not allowed access when weddings are under way. (Understandable) On the overcast day I visited, the cathedral interior was quite dark. The main altar was roped off, so details of the choir were hard...More
