When you visit Old Town you must visit St. Michael's Door and walk down the street. It is the oldest thing still standing in the city and is beautiful to see

As you walk thru the old town, you will come across the MICHAEL gate. What is more interesting is the entire street. It's definitely worth visiting

If you visit Bratislava, you'll for sure pass through Michalska door. Interesting tower, very high, opening access to old town. It is the sole historical door remaining from 4. You'll see also on the floor, in the middle of the door, Km 0 from the...More

The North entrance gate to the old city serves as one of the main landmarks of Bratislava. One of the top attractions not to be missed by the average tourist. The stately tower with the green copper roof is 51m high and is the only...More

We chose to go in the museum housed in this gate/tower. Only small but interesting and a great view from the top. Ticket also included the pharmacy museum round the corner which was unusual and worth popping in.

pretty town that acts as a gate in the old tower. good place to get your bearings as some of the alleyways begin to look the same. do try and climb the tower to view both the area and the many people wandering around

The castle had four main gates this is one of the two still standing. Going under it is like stepping into another world, a time-capsule as it were.

The place where all the Kings were coronated hundreds of years ago. Another point of interest, whether by walking or riding a tour bus. Interesting for this Texan who knew nothing about the history of this area. Buy the Bratislava Tour card!
