We walked to the old town from the Railway station and walked through the Gate without even noticing. It was only when I looked at the map I realised we had passed right through, and doubled back briefly, though not a lot to see.

Beautiful old gate to walk under along the cobblestone streets. A must see. It is like a gateway to the quaint little town.

Very nice area on the edge of the old town. Many restaurants and gift shops in the area. Be careful when selecting a restaurant there. My experience, the nicer it looks then the experience is more negative.

after being in places like Vienna and Berlin, we had to pull out our phones to figure out if we were actually at this gate. It is basically a small bridge.

It's actually a small museum as well as a vantage point to view the town. Stairs are a bit steep in places. Finding this attraction can be difficult it's through a closed door to the right at the base of the tower

One of the four medieval gates that were part of the town's fortifications. The original gothic gate has been reconstructed a few times and it now has the copper statue of St Michael on the tower.

If you walk too fast you will walk right past it as the area all around has been built up and commercialized. Make sure you visit the tiny ally house inside the gate.
