It is worth walking onto the bridge for great views of the Danube and Bratislava castle. It provides some great photograph opportunities.

The bridge is very architecturally interesting but the maintenance is a probably little bit neglected. The walkways for pedestrians are leaky.

The observation tower on Novy Most is a superb place for a pre-dinner drink, watching the twilight and the night descend on the city and the imposing castle. This allows for enjoying the views both in daylight and at night, when all the sparkling lights give the city a magical feel.

The UFO Bridge was one of the things I was most looking forward to seeing in Bratislava, and I was not disappointed. The architecture is just weird, and as a bonus, the views of the Old Town from the bridge are great. Go up to the top if you want, but honestly, just walking across the bridge was nice.

You cannot fail to see The New Bridge or UFO Bridge when in Bratislava; it is also know as the Bridge of the Slovak National Uprising. It is a unique construction and listed as the 7th largest hanging bridge in the world. It is located a few minutes walk from the Old Town; the closest well known spot is the... More

New and very attractive looks beautiful in the night. On a clear day the sight from here would be gorgeous, Unfortunately we were there in October and it was cloudy on the day we visited.

It's construction is very interesting - people are not at the same level as cars, there is separate walkway below the road. Funny feeling when there is a heavy truck at the bridge - everything starts shaking.

The New Bridge ( Nove Most ) is just a modern bridge that crosses the River Danube,as a bridge it's nothing spectacular, just a means of crossing the river but what sets it apart is the famous restaurant and observation tower built on the bridge aka the U.F.O.Bridge because of its distinctive shape. The bridge is the 7th largest cable stayed... More

The new bridge dates from communist times and is definitely a landmark. Its also called the UFO bridge because of the saucer shaped restaurant tower on the south bank of the Danube. Use the bridge to cross the river or for a different perspective of the city. Pedestrians cross on a separate covered walkway under the roadway and away from... More

It was bitterly cold as we walked across the park towards this iconic bridge. We had hoped to have a drink in the restaurant, but it was closed for a private function on the day we chose to visit, so we just paid our 7.40euro each and visited the open viewing platform. The views are stunning, even on a cold... More
