Kaunas castle is actually just a tower and some wall remains. The small permanent and temporary exhibitions are well displayed. The 15/20 minutes visit is worthwhile if there is no crowd at all, I can imagine that the small rooms can be suffocating if crowded....More

We believed the castle be better. Of course the architecture is amazing, but nothing else. Also the view to the river is amazing

Very close to the old town centre, the castle is nice, interesting to visit as part of the Kaunas and Lithuanian history. Pretty well kept, inside is pour, not too much to see. Cheap entry price, according to the attraction. Nice location near the 2...More

It might have been an impressive Castle once, but not now. The park and the river are very nice, so it is worth it to go and see. Nice brick red building with an interesting shape. Not much to see, hence the very cheap price...More

We have been there few times, castle has nice surraunding park, so you can spend here good time. Didn't went inside, but I know it offers excursion inside castle.

Not your typical castle, quite a lot had been renovated but I guess as there is little to do in the area, it will kill an hour or so
