A small place, but some interactive features make it more fun than I expected. Complete trivias to test your knowledge of world currency, weigh yourself to see how much you are worth in money, and take a few mint candies before your leave. Oh yeah, it's free too.

Placed just in the beginning of Gediminas Prospect, the museum is somewhat overlooked by many tourists, and that's a huge mistake. Museum has a huge display of money throughout the history and different geographies.

It is a small museum, so one cannot spend an afternoon here. However, it is a refreshing and cute museum with an interesting exhibition. If you are in doubt, it is free and centrally located, so you can easily get in and out in a minute.

Little place but with a loto of information and very well organised. The history of money is well documented, interesting ways of showing it. The pyramid of money is unique and a bright idea.

• Money Museum, Totoriu st., displays the development of money through the ages. Interactive and modern with lots to learn and much more to see than immediately meets the eye. Open Saturday. Sign a bit small so don't miss it. Paper money form all over the world. Free entry and need 1 hour minimum
