Famous Gediminas tower in the beautiful city of Vilnius has stunning views when you get to the top. It takes a little leg work to get there but is a very enjoyable walk or run to the top. Always full of visitors and tourists, truly amazing that it is still standing in the heart of Vilnius for all to see.... More

The view of Vilnius was beautiful. It's a nice walk up to the tower where you can sit and view the city, people watch, and take fantastic pictures. Absolutely visit Gediminas Tower!

The Tower is closed indefinitely while they try to work out how to stop the hill it's sitting on from collapsing. The furnicular is shut and there is no access to the Tower until further further notice.

I think is one of Vilnius landmarks you must visit and where you can enjoy beautiful views of town. Closed until the middle of February 2017.

So sad that I could not come back to see the place again but could see it from afar anyway. The most beautiful view of Vilnius is from this tower. I'm sure they're doing some improvements but they should announce when it's gonna be open to public again.

Been there with a 3 year-old child so it was not easy to climb all the steps to the rooftop but it is a must see. As the view of an old town is amazing. Inside there is also quite interesting historical museum, but it could be more interactive

Because of severe landslidings the Hill is not accessable. The funicular is also out of order. The museum is closed!

Definitely one of Vilnius landmarks, where you can enjoy panoramas of Old and New Towns. Unfortunately it is now temporarily closed due to technical-safety concerns and from provided information it should stay closed at least until the middle of February 2017.
