It was great to see the Kadriorg Palace just near by Kumu. The Palace is not very big and it has very nice interior. Specially the "dancing hall" and also some of the smaller rooms had a great decoration, like the library. Good venue to...More

The Kadriorg palace used to be a royal residence in the outskirts of Tallinn. It can easily be reached by bus or tramway from the city centre. The palace is not big and can be done in about an hour. I suggest getting a combo...More

Well maintained. This part of Tallinn screams wealth. This first room with murals on the ceiling is beautiful. Worth visiting.

We visited Tallinn in February, when the city was covered in snow. In the middle of a big park sits this gem. Opulent, grandiose and a reminder of the glory days of the Russian royal family. Full of interesting artwork but also with a magnificent...More

We wanted to visit Kadriorg Palace simply to see this lovely Tsar's palace built in the Roman Baroque fashion and the bit of Russian history associated with Peter I and Catherine. We were taking the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus that day and knew this was one of...More

We visited on a beautiful day, and had a wonderful walk around the gardens of Kadriorg in the autumn sunshine. It is a lovely building from the outside, but the art exhibition inside, with not particularly cheap entrance fee (by Tallinn standards) was just 'Meh'...More

We almost didn’t go after reading some of the bad reviews, but I’m so glad we didn’t listen to the naysayers... it was beautiful, quiet, interesting and a nice escape from the crowds in Old Town. Plus the drive out there gives a different perspective...More

We attended Kadriorg Palace on our last day and what a lovely way to finish -quiet and unrushed. We took our time roaming this glorious palace, viewing the painting exhibits. We had a hire car; which is how we got here - easy to find...More

It is located in the Kadriorg Park. It is a large building with a lot of halls. There is an elevator. Most of the exhibits are copies.

Depends on how much time you have and if you like walking - it will be about 2 miles from the cruise port, so at least half an hour walk.

Yep, really no need. Also, if you've got Tallinn card, your entrance there is free with the card. If you plan to visit more museums during your trip, I'd highly recommend getting one.
