Really dominates the square opposite parliament. Very busy with visitors both locals and tourists. No photos allowed.

The church looks great from the outside, but I was rather disappointed with the inside. I have been in Orthodox churches in St. Petersburg and there you could wander around freely, even during the services. But here we had to stand at one side and...More

This onion-domed structure perched atop Toompea Hill is Estonia's main Russian Orthodox cathedral. The church's towers' hold Tallinn's most powerful church bell ensemble consisting of 11 bells including the largest in Tallinn, weighing in at a massive 15 tonnes!!

A beautiful cathedral with a rich history. I don’t know if tours are available, but it would be worthwhile to take one. The view from the small park adjacent to the cathedral is stunning. Definitely worth a visit.

The church is very much like all the other Russian churches around the world. It can get very crowded because all of the tours stop at the church. They are very strict about no pictures. There are always church sanctioned panhandlers bottom of the stairs

Very greatly built cathedral, no matter you view it from far or near. If weather is good, you will definitely get some great shots of it.

Wonderful example of Russian Orthodox Cathedral, icons, incense, singing and the amazing architecture. Looks and feels very much older than it actually is.

Great church to look both at and in. The exterior is interesting and visible throughout the city and the interior is equally as impressive.

A landmark towering above Tallinn like a massive cream cake, visible from afar. Make sure you have a look inside this church.
