The Alexander Cathedral is one of the most beautiful buildings in Tallinn. On a sunny day you're able to take great photos of the exterior. No photo taking is alllowed inside the church. Be aware there are large tour groups in the morning and early afternoon. Better to go later in the afternoon.

This is an exceptionally well maintained church with a lot of religious articles to look at as well as a great place to just sit and absorb the atmosphere

We managed to visit the cathedral when there was an Easter ceremony going on. Highly interesting! The church is very decorative with a lot of icons.

This is probably one of the most impressive buildings in Tallinn, both inside and out. Unfortunately you are not allowed to take photos inside and its not all that big compared to the great cathedrals of England or France, so you probably won't spend very long inside.

A very nice and open orthodox cathedral just across from the Estonian parliament and castle. Still acts as a local church despite the location. Lots of nice paintings and icons around the church and some fantastic stained glass windows above the altar. Well worth a visit, take a seat and admire the artwork

Interesting visit not just as an architectural beauty but as a way to understand the history of Estonia and its relation with the Russian Empire. It's beautiful both in the outside and the inside. Not pictures allowed in the inside

Both the exterior architecture and also the internal decor are quite stunning to a Western Eye. This is a fully functioning Cathedral and one needs to be respectful of the regular worshippers coming in and out. No internal Photography allowed.

A beautiful Cathedral on top of the hill. (Two blocks from St. Mary's) This is a great photo opportunity. Adjacent to a beautiful park and also, the walkway to the Sweater Wall.
