Although this is quite a small museum, it is well worth a visit to get an insight into Estonian history and customs. There is an interactive model of the city, which is interesting. In the basement there is a wonderful display of china and porcelain.

My children liked it because they could learn the history of Tallinn at the same time that the played (the screen with the different guns they liked it very much and the holograms). It was very interesting for both children and grown ups.

If you have time to kill in Tallinn, a visit to the city museum is as good a way as any as the charge is quite modest, and the contents well displayed.

It had something for everyone! There was history of rifles, ships and life. Even a display of junk from each century.

Good way to learn about the history of the Tallinn and Estonia as a whole, with some great models, too. On the day we went, it was a little quiet, so the staff were really engaging and spent a long time chatting to us about...More
