I loved his pharmacy/ aphothecary. The aphothecary still dispenses medicines amidst a fabulous museum. There is a small crocodile suspended from the ceiling and curious items in jars. Interesting film show and leaflet describing the history of the family and the pharmacy. Free entry. Amazing.

It's worth popping into to see some of the bizarre ingredients they use to use like deer penises but I wouldn't plan your trip around it. It's still a working pharmacy so if you need creams or whatever you can get it there :)

The oldest working Aphothecary is nothing but a tourist trap. In and out in one minute. Busy with tourists. The curious antique shop in the same building surprised me. See for yourself.

walk around to see this place (very small place) they sell herbs in a bottle that when you come home you add tequila for example and is a remedy for pain on your joints. it was very interesting to see what they were selling.

Perhaps one of the oldest apothecaries in Europe? The interesting displays of of older parmaceutical remedies and equipment makes for a good visit.

Interesting exhibits of remedies from medieval times. Make syou appreciate even more modern medicine. Easy to find and easy to see in a short time.

This museum is in a room in a working chemists shop on the corner of the Town Hall Square. It shows some of the starnge potions once used and also the history of what is the oldest chemist shop in Europe

The old exhibits are located next to an operating pharmacy. There are many interesting items on display.

This Chemist's shop has been in continuous existence since at least 1422, and probably earlier. Interesting but I would suggest not really inspiring unless you happen to be in the profession.

There is still an active modern Pharmacist at work amongst all sorts of historical artefacts relating to medicine. Some of the old remedies on display are quite gruesome. Glad that one does not have to use them today!
